The Investigation
Authorities initially responded to Miller’s property on August 27 after receiving reports involving the dog breeding operation.
Investigators obtained consent to search the home and other structures on the property. More than 70 dogs were ultimately removed and placed into the care of animal-welfare resources.
Miller was arrested during the initial investigation and later released after posting bond.
Additional Charges
On September 8, investigators returned to the property and arrested Miller for 10 additional misdemeanor charges.
The charges reported by Cleveland 19 include allegations of animal cruelty, depriving companion animals of sustenance, possessing criminal tools, and engaging in sexual conduct with an animal.
These are criminal allegations and charges, not convictions. The case remains pending.
Why the Case Is Drawing Attention
The number of dogs seized during the August operation created significant pressure on local animal-welfare organizations responsible for housing and caring for the animals.
Authorities have continued reviewing evidence from the property, which led to the second arrest and additional charges.
According to the latest reporting, Miller is scheduled to appear in Ashland Municipal Court on October 13, 2026.
What the Viral Video Doesn’t Show
The video circulating online uses the headline “Dog Breeder Is Accused Of Doing The Unthinkable,” but the short clip itself does not provide the complete details of the investigation.
The underlying case is much broader than what can be seen in the social-media video.
The confirmed reporting concerns an investigation into a dog breeding operation, the seizure of more than 70 dogs, and criminal charges filed against Miller.
Because the case is still pending, the allegations should not be presented as established facts.
Authorities and the courts will determine the outcome as the legal process continues.
