{"id":53,"date":"2026-09-16T08:31:37","date_gmt":"2026-09-16T08:31:37","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/americaunfolded.com\/?p=53"},"modified":"2026-09-16T08:31:38","modified_gmt":"2026-09-16T08:31:38","slug":"89-year-old-driver-injured-in-crash-with-tractor-trailer-in-bristol","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/americaunfolded.com\/?p=53","title":{"rendered":"89-Year-Old Driver Injured in Crash With Tractor-Trailer in Bristol"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An 89-year-old woman was taken to the hospital following a crash involving a tractor-trailer Tuesday afternoon in Ontario County.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ontario County Sheriff\u2019s Office says the crash happened at about 3:38 p.m. at State Route 64 and County Road 2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">According to deputies, 64-year-old Blaine Becker of Harrison Valley, Pennsylvania, was driving a tractor-trailer north on Route 64 when Marcia Rausch of Conesus, who was traveling east on County Road 2, attempted to turn onto Route 64.&nbsp; Deputies say Rausch\u2019s Chrysler Pacifica collided with the driver\u2019s-side fuel tank of the tractor-trailer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rausch was extricated from her vehicle by the Bristol Fire Department and taken by Canandaigua Emergency Squad to Strong Memorial Hospital. Becker was not injured.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Rausch was issued tickets for failure to stop at a stop sign and failure to yield the right of way.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The crash also resulted in a diesel fuel spill, prompting a response from the state Department of Environmental Conservation. State Police assisted with traffic control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Route 64 remained closed at the time of the Sheriff\u2019s Office update but was expected to reopen soon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>An 89-year-old woman was taken to the hospital following a crash involving a tractor-trailer Tuesday afternoon in Ontario County.
