\u201cReal Housewives of Atlanta\u201d alum Kim Zolciak was seen stepping out in Georgia as her son\u2019s complex legal battle escalated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The reality star, 48, was pictured stepping out for shopping in Alpharetta, GA on Friday, wearing a fitted black tank top and relaxed jeans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She accessorized with a necklace, sunglasses, and a pair of pointed-to heels, and carried a white cell phone and her keys during the outing. At one point, she was seen putting away a shopping cart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She wore her blond hair in waves around her shoulders and parted it down the middle and remained expressionless.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The sighting comes after Zolciak\u2019s son, 15-year-old KJ Biermann, suffered a legal blow<\/a> in his sodomy and sexual battery case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Biermann\u2019s motion to close the courtroom was denied by Fulton County Superior Court Judge Melynee Leftridge, who according to documents obtained by Page Six, stated that \u201cthe high legal standard for permitting a closed courtroom was not met by Defendant.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n The court granted the teen\u2019s motion to limit photography and media recording, and allowed for protections over his juvenile court records, ordering that to keep them from the public, they \u201cshall be filed under seal.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n The judge denied the \u201cDon\u2019t Be Tardy\u201d personality\u2019s request to keep prosecutors from exposing limited information from his juvenile case that could affect the court\u2019s consideration of his bond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Page Six confirmed on Friday that prosecutors filed an emergency motion<\/a> asking the court to order forensic interviews of \u201cminor children\u201d for the case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n KJ \u2014 whom Zolciak shares with estranged husband Kroy Biermann, 41 \u2014 was arrested<\/a> in August and indicted on seven charges<\/a>, including three counts of aggravated sexual battery against a child under 16, aggravated sodomy, aggravated child molestation, false imprisonment and aggravated sexual battery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n A female classmate alleged the Bravo personality sexually assaulted her at the Life Time fitness center in Alpharetta, Georgia on April 23.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The classmate alleged he made \u201cmultiple\u201d attempts to have \u201csexual intercourse with her by trying to pull down her pants\u201d in a co-ed sauna at the facility \u2014 despite her telling him \u201cno\u201d \u2014 according to court documents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The then-15-year-old alleged victim also claimed to investigators that KJ digitally penetrated her vagina and forced oral sex.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Jason Sheffield, KJ\u2019s attorney, denied wrongdoing on behalf of client, insisting to Page Six in a statement that he is \u201c100% innocent.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n Zolciak, meanwhile, vigorously hit back at what she called the \u201creckless and deeply troubling\u201d allegations<\/a> in a statement of her own.<\/p>\n\n\n\n \u201cHe categorically denies ever being involved with this woman or engaging in the conduct,\u201d Zolciak said in part.<\/p>\n\n\n\n The TV personality\u2019s \u201cRHOA\u201d colleague NeNe Leakes claimed in a recent interview<\/a> that Zolciak is \u201cnot OK\u201d amid his continued legal woes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Zolciak \u2014 who appeared as a series regular in the Bravo hit from 2008 to 2012 \u2014 supported her son<\/a> at a bond hearing on Sept. 11.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Kroy was also present, and sat separately from his estranged wife during the proceedings. KJ was ultimately granted a $200,000 bond, though he must adhere to strict conditions, including electronic monitoring, a ban on cell phone use, and he must surrender his passport.<\/p>\n\n\n\n KJ is also ordered to attend school virtually from his mother\u2019s Georgia home, and cannot contact the alleged victim in any way \u2014 or be in contact with anyone under the age of 16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
